Naval Warrior Foundation
At Joorney, we understand how important it is to give back. That is why we collaborate with non-profit and social enterprises that do some good and make a difference. Joorney offers help by providing a free non-profit business plan once per month under a 30-day deadline with a selection process.
This month, we have written a business plan for The Naval Warrior Foundation.
The Naval Warrior Foundation’s mission is to provide immediate support and assistance to the elite service members and veterans of the U.S. The foundation provides them scholarship opportunities and seed funding for business ownership opportunities. It also offers a variety of other programs and transitional services that assist and empower U.S. heroes who represent the warrior elite of the U.S. Naval Services.
The Naval Warrior Foundation was founded by Murtice A. Tucker, JD, MS, a Marine Officer and Veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Luis C. Arroyo, a U.S. Navy Veteran. Mr. Tucker and Mr. Arroyo have experience from the U.S. Marine Corps Special Operations Capable Units, deep personal connections with members of these communities, and ample knowledge to successfully lead Naval Warrior Foundation and maximize the organization’s impact. Their dedication and personal connections with the U.S. Special Operations community enable the organization to reach its target population for program assistance and obtain support for the programs and events (e.g. guest speakers, advertisement, brand ambassadors, etc.).
The foundation’s programs are deliberately designed to empower, educate, and enhance professional development and provide transitional resources for veteran’s professional success. The Naval Warrior Foundation allows anyone to make a difference and improve the lives of veterans and their families by making a financial contribution, sponsoring a business, volunteering their time, or shopping at the foundation’s store.
